Looking to add some performance, need some help
#1
Whats up guys. I have an 02 5.3L Tahoe, and I'm looking to jazz up the performance a bit. The only things I have so far are the usual bolt-ons. K&N FIPK and a Flowmaster exhaust. What direction should I go next? Im not looking for anything to extreme. Im pretty clueless about this stuff. Any help needed. Thanks.

Thanks for the info guys. I did a little research and it seems that everyone agrees that a custom tune is the way to go. But what about headers? Should I do that before I get a tune? If so, what kind are recommended at a good value?

I don't have any of those tunes but it really doesn't matter much if you get the headers before or after the tune. If you get the headers before the tune, your tahoe will be tuned with the headers and then done. But if you get the headers after the tune, it still won't matter because nelson and wester will upgrade you tune for free. Now if you decide to get a dyno tune then you will more than likely need to get the headers first.
