Yep, I'm very pleased with it. It seems to be fine on the street for me. The only time I think it would be considered "too" big would be when I'm cruising around and get converter lock up at low speed. This cam has nothing below 1600 rpms. The 3000 stall really keeps this sucker alive on the highway and at the track. I'm anxious to see what more I can get out of this setup with bigger injectors and a slightly higher shift point. The truck is still pulling hard when it shifts out, so I know there's a little more there.

As far as idle issues go, the truck hasn't went dead since the second tune, so it's pretty close now. Cold startup the truck idles up to 1000rpms, then after a minute, give or take, it drops down to around 700-750, which is where I wanted it, because the lope is very obvious there.

I like mine
the only issue I have is I think my stall is tad to small.

but hey 30+ HP. and .8 tenths of a sec knocked off, at the track, Dunno you be the judge.
Is it to big????????

call those guys back and ask them if it's to big then whats up with the few guys here that are running them? and getting good results from it?
of course it does require extensive computer tuning, but nothing to major for a good tuner
later,
Daniel

I ran a 226/.535/112 in my 5.3L and it ran great. With tuning it ran great for a daily driver. Felt better than stock at part throttle even with the converter and high rpm powerband. I ran a best of 14.29@97mph N/A with that cam on stock heads and a 4900lb raceweight. Pretty damn good if you ask me..

Lots of people used to freak out with anything bigger than the 212/218 cam. I ran great #s with my 226. Blk6.0HD ran EXCELLENT with his 226/232? cam in his 6.0L and I have no doubt his new 224 cam will kick *** too..
