Default Long tubes or TT3000?

What is the better option for DD 5.3L, a set of LT headers or a stall converter? I already have a programmer, CAI, cat back and electric fans. Would like to get a little more get up and go and keep it very reliable. If I had the mony I would look going FI but that is a little to much right now. I know the stall does not add power but thought it might give me what I want since it gets the truck in the power band faster. Any input would be appreciated. Also, does a converter take a special tune?

Thanks,

for get up and go... a Stall Converter is cool. Headers will help you through out the power band i think.
depends on how high of a stall you want to get depends on the tune.. i got a 2800 and you dont need it tuned.. by i had to move my lock up mph speeds +5mph. it would have a light shudder and get alot of KR when it locked at the stock points.. but i think its more of the torque converter now, since the clutches arent holding, shuddereing and makin horrible racket.
