long tubes on lowered truck?

Default long tubes on lowered truck?

i was wanting to put some asm long tubes on my 02 ec 5.3 when someone burst my bubble and said i couldn't because the headers hang to low?????
lower than the bottom of the frame????? my truck is low but not that low...
could someone clarify this for me please????????

im not 100 percent sure... but they dont lower your stock exaust pipping. they do hang lower,, but you shorten your stock y pipe. and everying still lines up like stock. so if your stock exaust piping will clear.. i would think the long tubes will too.

JUST TALK TO THEM YESTERDAY. I HAVE A '03 RCSB WITH A 4/6 DROP AND THEY SAID THERE WOULD BE NO PROB WITH GROUND CLEARANCE

The ASM's terminate at flanges that weld to the catalytic covertor inlet so they do not hang down any lower that stock.

Unless you're lower than laying frame, I don't think you'll be having any problems.

You will not have problems. I have AS&M's and I have a 3" drop up front. Your Y pipe won't move.
