Default a little help with a small problem please ( dr x )

im getting a p1516 code thrown everytime i decel and slowly decel . it sends the engine into reduced power and its getting annoying. i do find that if i keep my foot on the gas to keep it at 1k rpms when braking to a complete stop it will not do it. but if i completely remove my foot from the gas and let coast or slowly brake to a stop is when the dtc will set. i have even tried to disable the dtc with hp tuners and it will not show the code but still go into reduced power. im using a ported 90mm ls2 vette tb and the dr x harness on my new combo. i know the harness is getting hot because of where it is , it even touched the header for a moment to sslightly melt the outside of a connector but it doesent look lik eit damaged andy wiring. so im wondeing if maybe the diodes and resistors used have a problem with the heat. but it could have nothing to do with this adaptor at all. i know the code is set when it see diverent values between the actual throttle postion and the commanded throttle position . if anyone can help and get me somewhere to start looking id appreciate it.

Just got home and responded to your PM with some questions. I see there is a little more info here though. All components of the module are automotive class(125 -150*C) including the wiring and connectors, but that doesn't mean they are fireproof.

BTW there are no individual diodes on the circuit board unless you count the onces in the IC chips used. Then there are a lot.
