Thanks man, 'preciate it.

OK, I'm really confused. I called CSR prior to purchasing a pump (which I wound up getting off Ebay). The guy told me I needed this pump (part #901):

Well, as you can see it doesn't look anything like the one in the link you posted:

The one in your link though looks like what I'd need. It has the same setup as stock as far as t-stat, connections, etc.

Do I have the wrong part or what.

Is that CSR one you have for the older SBC? Or LT1?
Look up the LS1 CSR EWP pt#, I'll see what I can find. But if you had a Meziere(pictured) that's what the LS1 EWP from them looks like.

This is what they show for LT1, part 901LT1, it's called a conversion:

That one doesn't seem right to me either though.

Freakin sucks, I think I bought the wrong one. But I CALLED CSR, told them the year, make, model, and engine, and this is the one he said I needed. He said I needed the one for the SBC...I assumed he knew what he was talking about. But there's nowhere for a t-stat, the heater hoses or whatever they are on the left, etc.

I think I need the one shown in that other photo...

#@&*!

The one you have is not for our Gen III LS1s. The guy you spoke with must have been misunderstood.
