do you personally know of someone with the 205/212 in a 5.3 with stock converter?? Im wanting a small cam to put in the 07 Tahoe that will not require a stall....

Uh, that would be me. I had an almost identical cam in my Avalanche from Cam Motion - it was perfect for that 6,000 lb. beast and the stock converter. If I had it to do over again I would have simply ordered the Lingenfelter cam; it was cheaper.

Here are the specs on my Cam Motion 205/212, 548/540, 114+4 cam:

Lobe Separation = 114 cam deg
Valve Overlap = -18.6 crank deg

INTAKE
valve open = -8.1 BTDC
centerline = 110 ATDC
valve close = 33.1 ABDC
duration = 205 crank deg
lobe lift = .32236 in.
valve lift = .54802 in.
lobe area = 23.19 in * deg

EXHAUST
valve open = 42.8 BBDC
centerline = 118 BTDC
valve close = -10.4 ATDC
duration = 212.4 crank deg
lobe lift = .31728 in.
valve lift = .53938 in.
lobe area = 23.64 in * deg

Only exception is the Lingenfelter will idle a little better and have less-peakey torque behavior due to the wider LSA. Mine did have a nice little lope...

Are the above LPEs the best choice for overall performance in a Radixed 5.3 with longtubes/ORY and a 2600 stall TC? Or will a different grind perform better on this setup?

Let me add to this question. Would there be difference in cam selection for my Vortech since my boost doesn't build as quick.

I have the gt2-3 cam in my 5.3 stock convertor it works good.could use a stall thought alittle lag just off idle but then hold on after that . But im going to change over to the gt2-5 because im not going to be running a supercharger or turbo and want more lobe. From what I hear and read this is the best cam for thoughs setups
