Default Line lock, anyone done it?

I finally got my new wheels for my slicks. There are stock wheels that I got widened to 8.25in. There are cool as hell, I think. Anyway, I have 28x11.5 Hoosiers. Since upgrading to the rear calipers of a Suburban I have trouble spinning these tires . On the blower no problem but, NA it has a lot of trouble. The truck goes goes in to ABS and creaps forward.
I know that Amy had some installed on her truck. Has anyone else done it and did it work out ok? Thanks fo any info.

where'd you have those stockers widened, and how much? sounds like a good idea.

A guy who works at a local wheel house did it, on the side. The only problem is that you give them 4 wheels and they give you 2 back. It was worth it, looks pretty trick. I can also get my hands on stockers pretty easy.

I remember reading a thread in the Auto Tranny forum about this. It seemed as though they all said it would with a line lock on it. This was a 4l60e they were talking abotu too.

You think you could get me a set of those widened wheels?

Say... with those 'Burban rear calipers...did you need 'Burban rotors too?

Yes you do need the Burban rotors, they are twice as thick as the truck ones. The brake pad is alittle over twice the size of the truck ones.
Anyone on the line lock?

Line lock is kinda hardcore on the street...it puts R and D together to get you to your true stall.

Um, what's wrong with just flashstalling on the strip? It should get to 3000rpms pretty easily...

Where'd the ATI go?

You thinking trans brake?

Could we use the line lock designed for the F-bods? like from SLP or Thunder?

The problem with flash stalling is you start rolling before it will flash to 3k. Line Lock will get you the ultimate launch.
