Well, I have driven one a little bit and really, I mean really liked it. Sure there are a lot of things that I still think it needs to be just the way I wanted, but I was impressed with the overall package. The interior was nicely custom done, and comfortable. The body is the best looking F150 I have seen, don't like the truck in any other form. Good handling, nice ride, decent brakes. The engine is the best setup I have even driven or riden in for how the motor runs being supercharged. No big fuse, not much noise, and no abruptness, just strong push you in your seat acceleration. If I had one I would lower it 4/6"s, change out to some 20's and add a few things like a rear cover, and a couple of gauges to better moniter the motor. For the price and overall what you get, it's hard to beat the $32,000 tag, just the insurance is way to high for me, as with any really fast sports car, that is why I go the custom route. Beyond that truck there is few Ford products that I would bother buying!

My insurance charges me $15 a month to cover the $15,000 in mods in case my truck is stolen, and my normal $89 a month rate with extra coverages does not take into any account what I do, or how fast the truck will become. Farmers don't care. I just get a blanket check on top for the additional coverage. Also a Lightning is a Lightning, It will be great once my truck is done and I can spank one, and that gives me the sleeper advantage!

I saw one running at the track last time I was there. He got his *** handed to him by a Benz. The Benz beat anything domestic it went up against though. The L was running low low 13's and got like a 12.99 or something once. That run, I think he beat that Benz. The Benz was running mid 12's.

What's it take to get one into the 12's like that. He didn't have headers I know. I looked at it while he had the hood up, but he didn't bother to notice me so I went on. Looked dirty under the hood, so I don't think it was much.

What do you have done to your Tahoe??? I know alot of L guys think that L's are the fastest things around, but I know that any truck with enough mods will give us a fight....

It takes about $700 or so to get us into the 12's....Headers dont give us jack.....Just a pulley and filter with a good tune/chip. Will net you a high 12 or mid 12 depending on track, etc....Those Benzs are fast as fu**!!
