3500lb truck (Spotting you about 500lbs easy here) with 1000hp would be 3.5 pounds per pony

My zx14r @215 RWHP and 550lbs would be 2.5 lbs per pony. Rather large difference there. Especially when most sport trucks are trapping around 95-100mph and bikes tend to trap around 150+.. This is just simply an apples to rocket ships comparison in every way.

don't forget about the rider. your kinda short but look like your about 220lbs, so that brings you up to about 3.58 pounds per horse pony
might be a good race for 1000hp truck with perfect traction, maybe a 4x4

I know I have and a couple other guys here pick on liter bikes from a dig, so its not unheard of for a truck to outrun a bike, takes a **** ton of power though. A zx14 is a different beast however.

not that many liter bikes running around. on the street youre most likely to run into 600s and an occasional 750. those arent too bad to chase down. i kept a r1 on the fender of my evo through 6th a couple weeks ago. my evo isnt THAT fast.

Riding my 2008 CBR600RR for 4 years weighing 140 lbs I have never been beat by a car or truck I'm not pro or anything and I don't go looking for trouble. The best experience I had was racing a "500hp" STI and beat him by 10 car lengths shifting at 10k (my bike redlines at 15K rev limiter 17K). Seeing how fast my bike would hit the top speed of 160 mph. I think you would need more than 1,000hp for a truck weighing over 4,000lbs to beat a 1000CC bike. There are weaknesses though for bikes.

Bike:
40-165 mph the bikes are king after that there is a window
0-40 This is where rider experience varies newer guys or riders who are scared will not be able to get peak times at this point being afraid of going 12 o'clock this is a soon disappearing fact with traction control, launch control, wheelie control and short sifters becoming stock on super sport bikes.

It might be possible but all the bike has to do is get NOS or a Turbo and it's over. Look at the new H2 and H2R 300HP Super Charged bike. You would have no chance against that thing.

Unless your EVO has 800+ whp or the R1 wasn't trying even 80%.

I respect your effort and desire to be fast but thats the honest facts.

Granted I happen to own one of the faster production sportbikes but most in the SS class with run low 10's or high 9's. Guys run mid to high 8's on my zx14r all the time with bolt on mods and no motor work. You might want to try outrunning some cars and be happy with that.
