anyone drill 1/2" holes on the sides of these puppies?

I haven't, but there's some info about doing that in the LS1/LS6 book by Will Handel.

I did Grip. Just dont drill them too big.

I did it on my LS1 I'm putting back together right now, but its not running yet. FYI, be careful when drilling, those lifter trays are hard plastic and seems like they will crack easily.
