Is this a worth the wild upgrade to do?? I am 95% sure I am going with a pro charger now. Would this be a benifit to me or should I just op for a ls6 intake. Has anybody run #7 cylinder lean with a vic. Also what all would I need to get this thing working. Or should I just go with a ls6 intake... I have ran across a few of these for alot cheaper then a ls6, but will it be cheaper in the end to go this route or with the 6 intake. Let me know guys.. I am also searching on this..
Thanks John

w2w proved it does not help #7 lean issue..its actually caused by heat i guess..i think im still going to do either vic jr or super vic intake once i get my truck running again. i will not run an elbow, im going to run a 4150 4 barrel throttle plate.

Hmm well if it has been proved then, I may have to stick with the truck intake, or the 6.. This might be stupid, but what if a colder plug was run in just number 7 hole. could that poss help the issue of the problem??

supposdly a possible cause to 7 leaning out is coolant flow and it being a hot spot . one of the things they have tried but not produced any success was using an 99-00 style coolant cross over like on the front of all the newer trucks instead of being just capped . it may be worth a try but even then its not going to incread coolant flow much with the diameter of that tube. not to mention the area that the crossover tube can be added is in the areas of the hot spot . so its just connecting one hot spot to another.

Prochargers and Victor Jr.'s together need lots of RPM to make good power. My converter stalls to 3500 rpm and its still not enough for what I like to do. Just letting you know, in case your not interested in that type of power curve. I shift at 6900 rpm.
