Default Lets Talk Headers and Cats

I crawled under my truck to look at whether I can keep my cats while running some mid or long tube headers. There is not much room. It looks like long tubes and cats are out, but it looks like I may be able to do mid-length and cats. I know a couple of guys have done it. I know I can go with shorties (weak gains) or the Dynamaxx system ($1200) . Here are some questions I have:

What headers will work?
Can I use my stock cats?
Will it be an all welded construction? ( I assume yes)
Do I need to relocate or buy new O2 bungs?

Thanks for the help.

TOG's and Thorley's will both work using Cat's. they are Mid Length Headers. I am currently running TOG's right now have about 2-3 inches of pip left in front of the cats to where it meets the header flange. As for the O2's you can keep them if you are going to keep your cats. The headers have placses in them to where you put your front 02's back in. The rear 02's stay in place. The only welding there is adding flanges to your stock y-pipe to bolt up to the headers or unless the exhaust shop just welds your cut-down y-pipe to the headers them selves and using no flanges.
Hope this helps.

Thorley sounds right. But TOG's not sure I bought mine used off Flyer from here so I didn't need or got part number.

I run Thorley's and I was able to keep my cats. You just have to cut in front of your cats on your y-pipe and weld it back up. Thorleys, from what's always been said around here, are longtubes.
