Default Lets talk flex plates ?? Quicky

Ok I have done a search on this and have came up with a lil of both on this. I have a 6.0(05) and will be putting it in my truck this fri. I have the 4.8(03). Now I have read that you need to use the 4.8 FP on the 6.0 and have also read others have not changed them and that they are the same. So what is it????

Than you
John

if the 6.0 had a 80e behind it then the FP has a spacer behind it... cant use that one... just take the one off your 4.8 and bolt it up...

Ok it would have since it came out of a 2500. Also so if it would have came out of a denali or esky, it would be fine, as they use the 65e, correct me if i am wrong. Is the spacer built onto the flywheel, or is it just a completly different wheel all togather.. Again thanks

John

the spacer is seperate from the flywheel. you take the 6.0 flywheel off and there is a round thing that the FW bolts on to. just barely thread 2 bolts on it and turn it. it will come right off. then bolt up you 4.8 FW and your golden
