Someone told me to plug the lines , to the trottlebottle colant lines, or something like that, he said it will stop the flow of hot colant.He told me it would make the truck run cooler. i have a 01 silverado 4.8 liter with mods.Is this tru.

Being in CA since it doesn't come near freezing yes you could bypass the coolant lines. Don't think you want to plug them, just bypass the TB from it's path.

Only reason I do it anymore is so when I take my TB on and off (which is often) I won't leak coolant everywhere.
