Should I order a tuning program or order a mail order tune? What would be the benefits of each?

If I were you I would call up Allen at www.Nelsonperformance.com his phone# is 210-626-0278. Allen has some awesome tunes and if you decide you want a blower, cam ,heads or ect he can always update your tune for more performnace unlike a tuning program where it just a base tune. Good Luck

Depends on how far you want to go. A couple of mods here and there, but nothing too serious, Nelson would be the no brainer. If you plan to go all out on a quest to climb the fastest truck list, then you need to learn and tune yourself. No one will put as much into it as you will

knowledge is something that cant be taken away and is invalueable, if I had the time I would much rather learn something than have someone do it for me

oh and between you and me the mailorder tunes are overrated, when you start actually learning what theyve done
ever notice how something you dont understand seems hard but once you get a little understanding your suddenly like this aint so bad I can do this

if you do decide to get a tune dont go through the mail get it done on a dyno for the same cost
