Default launch video

get it while it's hot, i am going to kill it in a few hours, very short on bandwidth. maybe someone can host this for a few days? >> http://www.neufamily.org/408launch.wmv

first launch was the best time, just a light brake stall and hammer it. barely turned the tired, pulled a 1.74. all other runs were 1.85 or so. last run from outside the truck was with open cut out.

then ran it once on the way home, i was planing on running an 1/8th but heard some detonation so let out. seems 10spi is a little to much for pump gas. it is warmer out today and i had some extra weight in the truck. i am going to try 9psi for awhile and see if that is ok on pump.

were you running that in 2wd... I saw some rear wheel spin on most of those runs

So your best was a 1.74 w/o tire spin?

watching these turbo truck vids makes me

that was 4wd and i think all 4 were spining since the entire truck slides sideways.

truck is running great, better than ever. all the tq from the 408 makes it really nice to drive.

Way cool! Love the turbo spool and sideways jump with 4wd.
I would still love to see the look on unsuspecting people's faces as you fly away from them! Other than the roll pan there are no other external mods that give you away. Sweet.
Time now to put it in the 9's and get Hot Rod mag to put you at the top of the list in 2005!
