No big deal to me , I did the same mods to my y2k silverdo and took everything off.
I sold the used headers, catback, http etc and bought new stuff.
Reused volant, hotchkis bars, magnacore wires,
I get a sweet deal from my employer on the leases and that's the way to go for me.

Those are short compared to the TOG's everyone calls mid lengths ... I think it's just that the TOG's aren't considered long tube4s even though they might should.
Those are some nice headers to say the least though. If they were long enough ... I might even consider switching on mine.

They have a 2.5" stainless collector supplied, it's not exactly a ball, more like a tappered slide over the header fit, no gasket and no leaks so far. They are alittle shorter than togs or asm's, but according to John make real good power.

Cool, sound good... I think I'll pick up a set. (I just don't want the headaches others have had with dealing with the main person over there)
Flyer: I was thinking that too...... that these look like long shorties. I guess they're the exact same length as Hamms, but with 1 3/4" primaries? If I recall correctly, someone said they were only two or so inches shorter than ASM's.... so I'm not sure if those pictures are completely accurate.

Nice looking stuff, 1 3./4 primaries, port matched to heads, circular firing order to the collectors, diffuser cone in the collectors, etc.
I have my magnaflow single 3" cat back installed and love the sound and most importantly, I haven't noticed any low rpm torque loss.
My question is, what will 1 3/4 primaries do the the power band, any opinions
I'm hoping to retain bottom end torque.

Nice headers, they should give you good gains.

That was my original question and I am alittle concerned about that, I actually ordered 3 sets when I got them and have installed 2 sets on friends trucks, I can't do a before/after comparison on the other trucks because I wasn't driving them. I'll be installing mine on Monday and will give a set of pants reveiw then. I am really enjoying the low end power of this truck now with everything in my sign installed except the headers. here's hoping....
