Default Lapole Headers, Question

I just received my headers for 04 5.3, not installed yet.
Nice looking stuff, 1 3./4 primaries, port matched to heads, circular firing order to the collectors, diffuser cone in the collectors, etc.
I have my magnaflow single 3" cat back installed and love the sound and most importantly, I haven't noticed any low rpm torque loss.
My question is, what will 1 3/4 primaries do the the power band, any opinions
I'm hoping to retain bottom end torque.

You shouldn't loose anything down low with those headers although I though LaPoles had 1 5/8" primaries? They used to be anyway. Havent looked at them for a while now.

Yep, they're 1 3/4" primaries. The LaPole headers kick ***! I felt a good gain with them, it should help your low-end. It really helped out my mid-range the most. Let us know the results!

I still haven't put mine on yet but i installed 2 other sets on friends trucks last week, the only fit issue is having to make extra cuts in the cat pipes to rotate the drivers side to line up. that's ok if you are not going back to stock but mine is lease truck and i'll probably
need to take them off in 3 years, other than that nice stuff.

That is not a bad deal. I might just consider them for my 01 4.8.

WHY would you mod a leased vehicle ????????????......all mods make me want to do is drive my truck more (and that's BAD on a leased vehicle), and at the end of the lease you either have to give up all the parts you bought or try and find another vehicle of the same type to put the parts back on
