Default L96 or Bust!!

Hello & thanks for looking at this..

Ok my situation is that I have a good line on a L96 w/ 6L90E, complete..

But because it is a new motor for 2010 there isn't alot of info out there on the motors... I know the 6L90E is a good find as it is stronger than the 80E, But the 90E is a little larger and a tad bit heavier...

As for the L96.. What is out there in the way of upgrades to help boost the HP up from the 352 that is reported..

Any help would be nice.. Like I mentioned all my LS books have no information past 2009 so I'm stuck!!

LS3 and L92 heads are not the same but they are both of the GEN IV variety. What's the casting number on them?

Thanks for the replies... I was just a little worried with it being so new that there haven't been any mods or post on them and as I mentioned I have no info on them in my books.. I did see a info post somewhere on all the particulars as Nightmare posted for me..

I do understand that it is the best situation when you can get the "whole ball of wax" as I can with this.. If I can pull off the deal it will be going into a 1970 Monte Carlo.. With that car tipping the scale at 4K pounds I knew I would need a strong motor to keep it fun.. The 350 (2B carb and original 56K miles) is still really strong but it needs a complete seal job from sitting around for so long..

Again thanks guys for the thumbs up, and if you come across any specific upgrades let me know.

Well it has been a while so I thought I'd fill you all in..
I picked up the L96.. it has L92 heads on it.. It only had "2" miles on the motor.. so this thing is newer that something you'd get from a dealers lot..

The 6L90E is one HUGE trany.. Speaking of which I will end up modifying the trany tunnel in my car to get her to fit in there.

Any ideas on how to run the electronics and control the trans? I'm sure you could modify a wiring harness from a newer vehicle to make work.
