+$$$??? for intake

L92's flow 328/214 @.600
Patriot stg 3's flow 320/236 @.600 and are $1295 with great springs w/ titanium retainers and you can reuse your rocker assembly.

As I said, if you don't plan on porting the L92's and you have a good intake already then they aren't that great of a buy. You can save some money on the L92's though by buying them bare for $175 each and buying the valves, rockers, pedistals, seals + good springs seperately. That is what I did and I think I have ~ $850 in mine with Patriot Gold springs and rockers/ pedistal.
i think for my L92s milled with the whole kit and kaboddle i got like 1200 i think...but that is everything, seats, retainers, keepers, dual sprigns, valve seals, int/ext rockers, rocker pedestals, rocker bolts and milled .030

WCCH says they will have a L92 package pretty soon, I don't know about price shipped, but it might be pretty close.

I take back what I said earlier. I think the L92's may be worth it over stg3's. Check out the mid-lift #'s:

Interesting info guys, the next few months should be interesting.

Maybe somtime this summer a SPONSOR cough, cough, would come up with a Budget L92 Conversion kit (Plug and Play) for the LQ9 which would include:

- Stock L92 Heads
- Rockers, pushrods, springs, etc
- Stock L92 Intake
- Fuel Rail and/or Injectors
- TB Adapter
- Cam of choice

We need a sponser that makes a COMPLETE kit to fit up a car style intake on the trucks.
