Default L92 engine

i was wondering if i could get a little more info on the new L92 engine. such as how hard would it be to do a L92 swap in a LS-body style camaro, would a T-56 be compatible w/ the motor, etc. just alot of general info. and what size gears come in the 2007 cadillac.

The L92 is a Gen IV just like the LS2 it will fit but you would have to mod the harness and run a compatible PCM for the VVT. And the T-56 will work.

And the 2007 Escalade (if thats what caddy you mean) come with 3.42's but those are helped by the 6 speed auto with a 4.02:1 First gear!

A LS2 block with L92 heads and L76 intake would be easier than an L92 engine install. But that doesnt answer yoiur question.

They get 20 MPG because of the new displacement on demand. It's going to take a LOT of wiring work and fabrication to get that to work on a different vehicle...

The Cadillics don't have active fuel management! I went to a dealer and drove one and they all said it wouldn't have it till 2008!

They get 20MPG because of the 6l80E and final drive gears! Not to mention better aerodynamics!

Yes but you would need a controller standalone for the 6l80E or a L92 PCM to run the 6l80E.
