Just thought about it, they DO screw into the block and the valley cover should have some black rubber seals that prevent oil from coming up.

You can see where they screw into the block.

They screw into the block, ur fucked! After I did mine the other day (used oem) the Code stayed on for a sec but hasn't come back on since.

If it's stripped Out in the block and holding the valley cover on, idk what the he'll to do

Try undoing the valley cover bolts and prying up on it. Maybe it'll work if the sensor is broke off in there. The valley cover gasket is reuseable unless you mess it up

no the sensor is out! just the threaded part of the sensor broke off flush into the threaded hole. so ill be able to get the cover off, just have to find a way to get the part that broke off out of the threads... wonder if some easy outs will work? got a brand new set i havent used yet... but also, why the hell is there a hole in the valley cover? let me go see if i can snap a pic right quick!

The only way I can see a hole being in the valley cover is if the rubber grommet that holds oil in and that the sensor sits in, is fucked up. Which is very possible

Under the sensor there is a stiff rubber grommet that the sensor sits in, it is built onthe valley cover, although they can be replaced if need be. Pull the valley cover off and inspect the grommet. There should be only one hole, the hole that the sensors goes thru to screw in the block

Edit: is the hole in metal or rubber? I cant tell
