Default Knock retard

Is their any other input that would create knock retard? Even with the stock tuning i'm getting KR of 10* at 5300rpm. KR shouldn't go above .5 from idle to redline right? It accelorates fine and has no driveability problem otherwise.

if it is just at that rpm and then goes away after the shift that sounds more like torque management.

torque management sucks, either this wimpy 4.8 has no torque or is suffering from a bad case of TM. it falls dead on it's face after the shift

I agree with Parish.

On my truck I would get a lil KR at diff. RPMs but during a shift I would drop to -10deg timing. Took out TM and now it is gone.

Is your exhaust banging on anything causing false knock?

Exhaust is fine, i'm pretty sure its torque mgt. I just took the predator tuning out and began to notice this.... I just never thought torque mgt. would be shown through KR.
thank you
