Angry Knock Knock

Sup guys my SES light recently came on and the scanner says its a knock sensor, how many do we have and where the hell are they, lol Are they hard to change? Any info would be great,thankx

there are 2. They are under the intake manifold in the lifter valley.

im located in Laredo, TX. Yeah i was actuallt thining of taking some time to remove everything and replace it myself

it's not that hard....where is laredo from DFW??? i'd help ya if you're close. but i seem to think Laredo is a bit south of here

Run some super unleaded through it before you start wrenching. It might just be some bad gas.......

If you replace the knock sensor and it has signs of water damage you can put a small bead of silicone around the hole to keep water from running in. There is a TSB about this.
