Default knock

ok i was just wondering ive done some searching and have done everything people have said. THe only thing left is to maybe screw with the timing. Now if there is some knock do i advance or retard timing. thanks.

Retard it 1-2 degrees at a time but only in the areas of the histogram that show knock
