K&N Cold air installed

I love it! It is a bit loud but I like the sound and It has better throttle resopnse. It looks pretty cool too!

K&N FIPK Gen 2 for 04'

Does anyone know if the K&N FIPK GEn 2 air intake is made for the 04' 5.3's??? i've heard that the ones for 03' won't fit right. Can any provide any information on the subject!

I have an 04, I didn't know there was a difference mine fit perfect.

The FIPK was my first truck mod when I owned a '99 Z71... pulls a bit better from ~3400rpm on up and the WOT sound is MUCH nicer.

K&N was my 1st mod too. i liked it. it had that nice throaty sound at first. then i think the truck got used to the new intake and the sound level decreased
