What is raceweight? I have always thought that my toolbox full of crap made me get better traction
Back in my day, we ... well ... anyway...
Nothing is going to get me under 5000 lbs. hehehe.

Hey, went to a truck scale after work today and weighed the truck.
It came in at 4340#'s. That is with me in the truck and about 10gals of gas.
The only thing that isn't stock on the truck that would reduce the weight is the JBA headers but, it has true dual exhaust with two flowmaster mufflers that add a little weight back.
Without my 140# carcass the truck would weigh right at 4200#'s, right on GMC SKI's numbers.
Kinda makes you wonder if the fleetsides are lighter, like some people are saying, or not. I don't think so.

Dang... I need to put my truck on a diet. Mine weighed in at 4400 even without me in it. 1/4 tank gas, no spare. I think my stereo equipment, 18's and Hotchkis springs are what is bringing my weight up. BTW... I weigh in at 220 so that dosnt help a whole lot on race day either.
