how bout the tip? is yours stainless. hope so or it will look like crap in a few months.

i hardly call the catback a waste of money for a product that is proven to give rwhp gains and will last a very long time
Superman,

I chose to spend the extra money for the stainless steel catback for this reason: I can pull the stock exhaust off, store it, use the catback for as long as I have the truck, pull the catback off, put the stock on, sell the truck, and then sell the catback for a fair bit of change.

I paid $375 shipped for the catback. I figure I can get $250 back out of it down the road presuming I keep it in good shape. It's worth the $125 to me for 5 years or more of use.

I had a B&B on my 97ws-6 but after that the Hawk and the rest just got a muffler and tips.. I`ve never kept a car long enough to have an exhaust rust.. even the 99Hawk still shows no sign of rust so stainless makes no difference in my book.. I never noticed much power increase with one anyway.. I just get `em for the sound I expect very little from a cat back.
I`ll save my $$ for some headers.. they had got to be such a snap to put in.. I love the room in this engine bay, it`s like a dream compared to the f-bods

just my .02 thou.

I ordered mine from T Byrne. Its not their (T Byrne's) fault at all, they've been great about the whole thing. Magnaflow had been off the whole two weeks @ Christmas, so they are running behind. It might be a whole different animal for you since there are more extended cabs out there than what I have, but still almost six weeks is more than sufficient to make a exhaust and ship it.

I bought mine locally for $320. You'd be surprised who "locally" is a magnaflow dealer. Check out www.magnaflow.com/03dealer.htm and see who is close to you. That way you can save a bunch on shipping.

DevilDog92,

My exhaust arrives today. Have you not gotten your exhaust yet?

I'm punching out of work a bit early to go home and put it on. I'll let you guys know how it works out and SOUNDS!
