Talking Just ordered a few things

Trying to get some things together so i'll be ready when the engine is ready.
Ordered-
Pacesetter long tubes, coated
Pacesetter y-pipe
Fowmaster 3.5 inch to 3inch reducer(going to cut the y-pipe and turn it into a 3.5 inch single)
Magnaflow race series stainless steel muffler-round body-3.5 inch
Jegs stainless steel exhaust band clamps.

Next week i'll order an smc progressive alky controller for my alky kit.

I cant wait til its all together, then I guess I will have to plan on the transmission exploding next

don't be so sure, I am well known around here for being somewhat slower to get mods completed

Randy that sounds about like the new exhaust setup Kenny has. It sounds damn nice! I think you are going to be very happy with it.

I think the headers have been at least a significant part of your horsepower bottleneck. I would say that you are correct-time to start saving for a tranny !!

Nope, mine's better! Seriously Randy, you ought to think about haveing the entire exhaust custom made like I did. That Pacesetter Y is going to cause a bottleneck with the 3" collector it has. I used a Flowmaster 2x3" into 3.5" scavenger Y on mine.

I was looking at yours the other day before I ordered anything. I know its better than the pacesetter y-pipe, but i am trying to keep it as simple as I can. I havent found an exhaust shop around here I really like fooling with. I figure the pacesetter y has to be worlds better than the stock y-pipe.
Why do you think it will be a bottle neck? I plan to cut the pacesetter y-pipe right where it turns into a single, then put in the flowmaster reducer to turn
it into a 3.5 inch single system. I was thinking the 3inch y-pipe to a 3.5 inch would flow pretty nice.

I didnt realize you were planning on modifing the actuall y-pipe. I though you were just going to stick the reducer (or expader in this case) on the end of the 3" y. If you are going to cut the collector off the pacesetter piece where the two 3" pieces join and expand it out to 3.5", it shoud be fine.
