Default I did the FloPro thing

Just had the FloPro 2503 muffler installed on my truck. And there's almost no difference from stock. Maybe a little burbble at start-up and at 1800 to 2000 rpm, otherwise it's damn quiet. Performancewise, I haven't noticed any difference. I'm just a little disappointed there isn't a little more rumble. Oh, well, I'm done with the mods for the truck, now I can dump more money into the boat!

Let it "season" a little. Mine has gotten louder over time. It is still a "quiet" muffler compared to most. I could barely feel a sotp increase, but the dyno showed 8 rwhp and 28 rwtq.

I can't yank the cats out here in sunny So Cal due to emissions testing. Plus from what I've read, the factory cats are pretty high flow to begin with.

Yeah, but you're running a blower, I'm pretty much box stock. I don't think the costs justify the gains for me.

Any other performance muffler would drone like hell.dont know if you can handle that.My recommendation would be to have a set of high flow cats flanged at both ends and you can inter change them yourself.Or flange the OE's.I have dynomax bullet mufflers I swap out with my HD cats.I do the bullets when i want LOUD.

Seems like a lot of work to make noise that's annoying.

I just was a little disappointed the muffler doesn't make a little growl when I get on it. But oh well, I let it "season" or break-in. Either way I'm done putting money into the truck, it is what it is. I don't have the time nor the funds to make it a "hot rod". I'd love to have a kick *** fast truck, but to do that I've got drop cubic dollars into it. Maybe next time I'll just get a Duramax and tweek the computer. The HP/$ ratio is a lot better. I've got a boat to dump money into and that seems to eat it up real quick.
