Well guys, it's like this. I decided to replace my used Pacesetters with a set os New Pacesetter LT's. Since I'd bought the used ones second handed, I wanted some new ones.
I ordered 4X4 specific headers. Let me tell ya, these bastards went in, under 2 hours or install time. But....I have never had so many problems with headers in my life!
Other than scratching my coated finish to a pulp, I have one one more complaint!
Aren't 4X4 specific headers supposed to fit a 4X4?
I had to repeatedly heat and hammer and bend my drivers side header collector and the 3rd primary just to get the bastard to clear my front driveshaft!!!! I had to hammer a 1/4 inch dent into the primary after bending the collector upward about a whole inch!!! With all that done.....if I get any big time engine flex, it'll still hit more than likely.
I was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem?
If I knew this, I would have just kept the old ones on.

With my 2wd I just had hell getting them in on the passenger side. Other than that there was the aforementioned scratching. I have rust forming on mine, NOT where I scratched lol, but right after the pipes leave the heads.. The coating is not as great as it was once before, especially considering their age, only 8-9 months old now. I will be removing them and having them re-coated when I put my new motor in.

The only mod I had to do was a slight tweak of my tranny cooler lines (10 seconds of hard labor)

Wow, sorry to hear about your troubles. I have a crew cab 4x4 6.0L and mine fit almost perfectly, only the passenger's side exhaust hanger (mounted on the trans) had to be permanently removed. I bought my headers no more then 6 months ago, they have been on for about 2-3 months now.

we put them on white1's 4wd and they went right in. Didn't have to extend the o2 sensors either. They did get a little scratched up, if we had realized that we would have wrapped it in something to protect it while sliding them in, but other than that it wasn't a problem... now the problem was with the ORY, he killed the tranny the following day so we had to yank it, the damn thing was crimped on to the headers and took a lot of work to remove.
