the first things i usualy do and it is prety safe is to up the speed limiter to 150 or so. then up you shift points some along with the rev limiter.

not sure what your stock shift points are but something like 5800 would probably be good and rev limiter at 6000.

then with atap log your ltrims at part throttle and your ltrims, timing, KR, maf rate, rpm, throttle pos, at wot from 0 to about 100, with those numbers we can give you more stuff to adjust.

also you need to decide if you want to get rid of torque management. it will make you quicker but will also kill your tranny sooner.

Hey parish what i have done so far is copy the settings of my hypertech and have the file ready to edit. I have a transgo shift kit installed and the servo so ive heard it is safe to take away at least 50% of torque management. That is what i want to do. I got some instructions from ls1tune.com but, those instructions are for removing it completely. If you know how to take out a % Please let me know.

I deleted 50% of my torque management, Man what a difference!! my shift kit really hits hard and you can feel a continuous pull. I am going to leave it at 50% for everyday driver and make another ls1edit file with TQ Mgmt deleted for the track or to race the Harley's. I still have to mess with all the other Ls1edit features like removing my Knock Retard. Learning Process.

Cool.!!

Hey David glad to see you got your truck running with LS1 edit. Maybe you can make it to the track also with us. Joel will be there with his pick up and maybe you can get your nephews to go also. (Steve,Eddie,Orly) All the ford fans and such so they can see real trucks run! LOL
Anyways I am off for Texas first thing in the morning.(Saturday) I will be stuck in McAllen for a few days at the hospital, but if all goes well we'll be at the track the 12th or 19th.
I drive a 99 ECSB stepside shaved gate and rollpan, lowered says"Whoop *** Racing" in the back, gold in color. If you see me in Mexico stop by so we can bullshit for a while. I am usually with Eddie and Giovanni.
See ya there!
