well i finally came across what i hope is a good deal. 599 for a ls1. its gonna get blown in the truck. woohoo. what kind of oil pan is this

i believe that is a corvette oil pan, you might have to switch to an f-body or truck pan

i was thinking the same thing just wanted to know my self for sure. will it not fit in the truck at all or does anybody know or is it just better to use mine.

Yep thats a Vette pan. Youll have to change oil pickups and pans. Might even have to swap windage trays too. Im unsure on that one.

the guy just said it look clean and looked like it had low mileage. i hope it does and i guess if it has a vette pan then must have cam from a vet right? so does this mean it might have the little lumpier cam too?

Its not lumpy. Its just a high revving cam!!!

oh ok i thought it had a little more lift on it than like some of the other f-body cams. thats the info i found anyway. but either way will it be an ok turbo cam that all i need to know.

its gonna get to my house bout the time i get there lol. but we'll probably have to pick it up. are you ready to haul some ***. now we get to turbo a 5.7 instead of the 4.8 woo hoo
