Default Just bought some new Thorley headers

Just bought them today. The picture quality is pretty crappy, but you will get the idea.

They offer coated and chrome plated headers, I bought the coated ones. They have 1 5/8" primary's to 2" secondaries, down to a 2 1/2" collector. These are Tri-Y's by the way.

I will get some before/after dyno numbers and some before/after track results in the upcoming weeks. I do have Gibson shorty headers that are rusted, but it should be interesting to see what kind of gains are to be had.

I think the chrome one are around $440 and the coated are another $150-200. I new the guy that worked there, so I got a pretty good deal.

I knew about those bad boys last year. I emailed Jardine/Thorley and they told me the release date was 2/2003. Glad to see somebody got them. 1999Stepside, definitely let us know the results you get with them.

so, will these make the same kind of power as the arizona headers? if these are comperable to the arizonas then this is what i'll end up with. they are half the price and if they perform as well, it would be nuts not to go with them on a budget buildup such as mine.

Hopefully I can get some before/after dyno numbers. But there will be before/after track number for sure.
