Jet-Hot ceramic coating on long tubes?
#1
Has anyone ever used Jet-hot ceramic coating on their long tube headers? I recently picked up a set of ARH long tubes and I'm considering getting them coated before I install them. It will cost about $500 round trip. Is it worth it? Im also going to be putting on my Roush tvs1900 along with my headers. Any input would be appreciated. Thank you.

I think that Jet hot used to do the ceramic coating for the early Hooker headers. I have a set of 2462 1hkr headers and have had them installed since 1999 or so. For 10 years that truck was daily driven even through the sloppy/salty Canadian winters. Today they arent the prettiest, but there is no rsut through. I used to go through a set of painted Hedman headers every year for 3 years straight til I spent the extra on a ceramic coated set. Paid for itself in 2 years.
I have heard that Jet Hots coatings are even better these days.
