Default Jet-Hot ceramic coating on long tubes?

Has anyone ever used Jet-hot ceramic coating on their long tube headers? I recently picked up a set of ARH long tubes and I'm considering getting them coated before I install them. It will cost about $500 round trip. Is it worth it? Im also going to be putting on my Roush tvs1900 along with my headers. Any input would be appreciated. Thank you.

I think that Jet hot used to do the ceramic coating for the early Hooker headers. I have a set of 2462 1hkr headers and have had them installed since 1999 or so. For 10 years that truck was daily driven even through the sloppy/salty Canadian winters. Today they arent the prettiest, but there is no rsut through. I used to go through a set of painted Hedman headers every year for 3 years straight til I spent the extra on a ceramic coated set. Paid for itself in 2 years.

I have heard that Jet Hots coatings are even better these days.

I would think it's worth it, my ARH headers reshaped my passenger inner plastic fender from all the heat that it releases. I would imagine if had them coated this would not have happened.

it will help with heat for sure. ARH swears its not necessary, but how could it hurt. If you have the extra cake it certainly will help keep them looking great.

I had jet hot coat my obx's on my old truck and the finish looked great for years! Still do to this day! Definitely made a big difference in underhood temps!

I've sent a few sets of ARH to Jet Hot for coating. I asked the guys for pictures, but never got any.

I'd bet they turned out great.

When I get them back I'll be sure to snap a few pics and see if I can figure out how to post them up here.
