They're still driving home. It's a LONG haul from RCR to Lubbock! Anyways, I watched Jason's wife, Lacy, make two passes in the truck n/a on ET Streets. The truck spun on both passes, netting a 2.0 60' each time, but it still ran a 13.5 @ 99 MPH! Our jaws hit the floor when we saw the clocks. Jason went back to make a N2O pass, and they told him that the track was closed, even though they told him to come back for one final pass! They didn't care that he drove all of the way from Lubbock just to run. The N2O timeslip will have to wait.
I had AutoTap with me, so Jason and I went out this morning to get some #'s on the N2O. The truck easily pulls as hard as my SS! The Generals were laughing all of the way through 1st gear; he had to pedal it three different times before the tires would quit spinning. This was with a 100 shot! With a decent launch and proper bottle pressure, the 100 shot could easily put the truck in the 12.4's. I put my money down that he'll have it in the 11's before this year is over. Joseph did one HELL of a job on the 6.0L. It sure is tempting to throw one in my ext. cab GMC. Jason said that he got 13.5 MPG towing the T/A. That's pretty awesome!

I enjoyed meeting you guys yesterday. I wish i coulda stayed and watched the truck run, but i had to get to work. You really have to heat the ET streets up for a long while with the truck to get them to hook, but they will.

And im still pissed that i have no 11's yet...damn 12.01 and 12.05

man thats one crazy truck, 13.5 all motor w/o traction, and then nitrous on top of that. take it to the track again and were gonna have to update that #1 spot on the fastest truck list

Daren,
It was good to meet you, too. You would've gotten your 11 if you could've completely cured your knock retard problem. With only two gallons of race gas, it was probably too diluted w/ the pump gas to work effectively. Next time you go out, run it as dry as you can before getting to the track, and dump a few gallons in again. I bet that will make more of a difference.
I hope Jason doesn't mind me posting this for him!

Too late to delete
LMAO I could imagine everyone acting surprised too

I was pretty happy with the trucks numbers considering it was its first time out with a little traction problem. We were thinking it would run 13's N/A, just not that far into the 13's
Next goal is 12's N/A, we need some headers and air intake up in here, maybe a offroad exhaust setup. Kinda disappointed that we didn't get a N20 pass in, but we'll make it to a track somewhere soon to test that part of it out. We need to get the T/A back on the street before anymore truck mods go into effect.

I think i would have gotten the 11 if i had less gas all together. I had over 1/2 of a tank. If I woulda had less than a 1/4, then it would have been over 70 lbs less. Im pretty sure i will have an 11 sec pass the next time to the track here in Houston. Hey...BTW.. .will you send me that log file i created on your puter. Its called ddd.log.

Also, there is a track near you in Idalou. I know its 3000 feet, but at least you could get some comparison numbers. I think the website is www.raceidalou.com

Thanks
Daren
