I saw it. If it was my truck getting that, believe me, I'd be plenty happy. Amazing how everybody gets 120 RWHP but me...either that, or 120 HP sheets are the only ones that get posted.

I think most of us truck guys aren't to concerned with dyno numbers. Mine has YET to be strapped to a dyno.

Flyer - When a 120 HP gain is advertised, how else are you going to measure to see if that's what you get?

F8L - I've noticed that. Except for mine, which I posted, that I had dynoed in AZ....which showed less than a 100 RWHP gain.

Take it to the track.

If you bought a K&N finlter that advertises up to 22hp gains and didn't get near that, would you make as big a scene?

I think it's safe to say that we all know you're not getting 22hp from a drop in filter. I think you'de be hard pressed to get anything near that with a full cold air kit. Advertising is meant to sell products, not be the holy grail. If we believed everything that was advertised, Ron White (Ronco Industries) would be our hero.

You've got to understand there are other circumstances that warrant less than desirable gains as well, which in your case turned out to be a faulty fuel pressure regulator if I'm not mistaken.

I hate dynos!

I'm with you Flyer... The track is a great tool but there are soo many other factors involved with a good ET/MPH. The Dyno generally is the best for before and after results based just in HP/TQ.
