Default I've decided on a Volant CAI - good choice?

I've looked them all over and I have decided on a Volant 15153 CAI for my new Vortec MAX. Does anyone NOT like this CAI? If you don't, tell me why (before I buy one)

Thanks in advance for your feedback.

Mike

Sounds like a good choice. For the most part, a majority of CAI are pretty similar in performance. You should be pleased with Volant. I have heard alot of good things about them...

Thanks for the input guys. This site is great. Where else could I talk to 5 or 6 people that already have the CAI?

I do have a couple more Q's. Has anyone had MAF fouling problems with the Volant?

Will the Volant still work with a Magnacharger when I get one?

Thanks again,

Mike

maf fouling is an issue with any oiled filter element, theres a non static cleaning spray out there that can solve that issue. i personally have never had a problem with that, its mostly if someone over oiles their filters.

the magnacharger supercharger, im trying to think... if thats the raddix, then i think the throttly body gets repositioned to the side, so the intake would not fit, i do not personally have the magnacharger, so i cannot be definate.

but as far as a cai goes, ive heard nothing but great things for the volant, i went with the aem brute force, for its chrome piping, and look, but my second choice was the volant, hope this helps
