Talking It's alive again

Well, I installed my new verter today finally. So now the truck lives once more. Maybe this time I can drive it more that 3 days before somthing els happens..lol. Had to cut off part of my damn exhaust to remove the tranny because the guy that did it made it one solid piece from front to back So right now the truck sounds like total *** with one full exhaust side and one half way with no muffler. Gotta take it to an exhaust shop monday and get that fixed. Gotta go through the usual 150 mile break in period on the yank, then I can finally get on it some and see how it runs without being tuned
Word of advice, when you install a transmission, be sure to put in the clips that secure the cooler lines to the trans. I forgot and it made one hell of a mess before I realized WTF was wrong

Hey what's up man

This is the 6.0 with the Whipple, right?
I was just wondering what you've done with the trans.

I want to see new times, you have the lightest possible fully-equipt NBS pickup, should be sweet!

I learned this the hard way when traveling 50mph down a busy street, i thought my truck caught fire.... an 18 wheeler even pulled over cause he thought it was on fire..

If you like tranny fluid everywhere, in your engine bay, fenders, hood, wheels, ***, hair, I suggest leaving the clips out

Thanks guys, its been a long road, but not over yet. I still have to fiqure out why it keeps throwing the p0342 and p0343 fault codes. I replaced the cam position sensor, but it didnt fix it
My transmission is on borrowed time. It is completely stock except for the stall and a beast sunshell. I am pretty much broke right now so I have no choice at the moment but to run it that way. I did get it rebuilt under warranty while I was waiting on the converter to get here. Hopefullly it will last long enough for some dyno time and a trip to the track. I'm sure it wont live long before it goes I'll gladly accept donations towards the purchase on an FLP Level 5 4l65e tranny
