Finally....fired up the new engine tonight. Gotta do some finishing up stuff tommorow and then it will be time for its first test drive.

I had the 6.0 rebuilt.
Beefed it up alittle with...
Diamond pistons
ARP head studs, main studs and rod bolts
Comp cam xe-r 224/230 .581/.592 114lsa
Comp 918 springs and titanium retainers
new main,rod and cam bearings

I didnt take many pics , but I did take some. I'll post em as soon as I can
get em together.

Good to hear. Your truck was always one of my favorites. Ho wmuch boost are you planning?? Are you still using the whipple with the SMC kit??

I am really curious to see how it works out. Your motor sounds exactly like what I'll be doing in about 2months. How much boost you planning on running? i figure the Whipple konks out around 12psi so you'll be doing a larger shot of nitrous right?
