Yeah, tell me about it! 25% less air up here. 25% lower maf readings, 25% less horsepower.

On the bright side though, everyones in the same boat...LS1's run 14.5 at 99, vipers run 12.9's at 108. All I gotta run to beat a viper is 12.8! Running a 12.8 is the hard part though.

Black Blown 02, thanks for posting your results. I was considering trying a similar experiment to conclusively answer this question from the previous thread.
I notice you also saw the timing go 0.5* lower than the value set in the spark retard limit table. Curious, but it still doesn't help explain where Flyer's timing loss was/is coming from. I can't think of many other tables in Edit that would be helpful...

Yeah, that half a degree difference is weird. But it does seem consistent.

There must be another variable that ls1 edit hasn't found yet. Maybe they'll find it on newer versions.

There is a Corvette tuner who understands all that and more on one of the corvette forums. He helped with the latest edition of Ease and the update with LS1 edit. His name is John Rovner and goes by TEAM ZR1. He is the guy who corrects all the so called tuners who send you a locked PCM. He also has a website by that name. Maybe he could help you out.

Default Tuning issues

I tune supercharged LS1's and this is the firs time I am trying to tune a 02 surburban with a 6.0 litre and a whipple charger pushing 10 lbs of boost. We had to use the 5.7 litre PCM due to the signal to the transmission.I am lost on this. The timing tables are totally different from LS1.I need to know some of the values from all gms/cyl.I finally got the truck to run pretty good at WOT but the low driveability really is bad.If you take off normal it hesitates until it his around 1900 RPM then it clears up,also if you floor it from a dead stop it will not go,It acts like it is dumping a crap load of fuel.It has Delphi 38 lb injectors, the LTFT at idle are around -.78,The timing is where I am really confused.Does some one have a program for this setup they can send me so I can see all parameters/,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Thanks Moe

moe ... try increasing the VE table in the lower rpms a little. I would start with mult. by 105% and see what that does.

Thanks I will try that.Tonight the mechanic changed the plugs.NGK TR6's,They looked like they had hot spots to me.With the new plugs the truck runs good, still a little sluggish at the bottom but the more you drive it the worse it gets.No spark retard, air fuel on the dyno was 11:8.I am going to compare the timing tables to a 6.0 litre truck that I downloaded.....Will let you know tomorrow.......Thanks once again..

Do you want me to send you some EDIT files of my 02 before and after the RADIX, both 'stock' tunes?
