Default Intake swap

I have a 2000 silverado with a 5.3L. Can i swap to a stock LS1 Camaro intake and use my original throttle body and fuel rails/injectors?

you can swap the intakes but you will loose low end power with the ls1 and i think you have to change some accesories around.

Leave the truck intake on there. Its better anyway, f-body guys like to use it. Plus the ls1 intake pushes the TB too far forward. Which isnt a good thing

You have to change your accessories, to clear the TB. Your fuel rails will work, but the crossover tube will look kinda goofy. I believe theres some issue with the injectors too. If you're going to do that, use at least an LS6 manifold to somewhat benifit from it. Talk to Ryan23Silverado on here, he seems to be the expert on this swap and his **** looks clean.

With the exception of the injectors it is a direct swap....if you want to mod the intake a little you CAN use the truck injectors, you DO need the idler pulley bracket that Speartech makes to move the idler pulley however ($70), The truck accessories WILL work just fine

All in all it's a pretty easy swap.....I did mine just for looks, I saw ZERO difference between the two intakes

Yelo, I am in the process of doing the intake swap as well, for appearance, I ma installing the 6.0l in a 1955 Chevy. I have an LS6 manifold, fuel rails and injectors. I will order the idler adapter, but how did you handle the water pump outlet and the interference of the throttle body and the alternator bracket? It looks like a large portion of the alternator bracket will have to be removed to clear the TPS connector.
