I am not trying to defend Volant. They, as a company receive a C- on my scale. The gen 2 volant is MUCH better than the gen 1. I personnaly think they did not research their product enough before they released it. They're customer service is a joke! ETC, ETC.

I am more curious as to what the differences are. (which you explained)

It needs to be compared to a k&n system and others like it. The volants just plain dont work on the dyno but I can tell you from the sotp meter they give a nice gain in my buddies truck. 440$ for a piece of sheetmetal a plastic tube and an ebay filter they out of their f---ing mind. My intake has an ebay heat shield(looks exactly like the afe one) a k&n conical filter and an airaid mit all for about 120 bucks those people are crazy!!!

I don't believe the charts are working. Could you rehost them?

I'd really like to see the charts and know what kind of dyno it was on. HP spikes don't impress me much as well as comparisons against old "antiquated" intakes. LOL

Post those graphs mate!

The link is working. I can't get the dyno graphs to appear. I see the stock test with the Volant cai that you just reposted.

These are the sheets from Wednesday. I printed both since one is clear but is missing one pull, the one with all pulls also got some extra junk in the printer on it.

Wait, your comparison is from dynos that were a year apart? And a DynoJet to boot?
