Default Intake question.

Has anyone thought of running a small air to air intercooler between the air filter and TB to somewhat cool the air that is going into engine? I've seen those 4"x12" intercoolers that you could use. Instead of the intake elbow going directly to the filter box you can have it go down and run an intercooler with a cone filter on the end. Probably a stupid idea but just a thought.

No purpose, since the airboxes pull from a cold air point there's nothing to heat it up.

Just put a A/C evaporator inline of the intake and filter and you would have instant cold air!
