Default Intake manifold and TB swap

I am trying to figure an approximate cost on this project.

I want to swap to a Victor Jr. and a 90mm throtle body. I wanted to use a 4 barrel TB, but I read they don't make one "drive by wire". Is this true?

What other things are needed to complete this? I'm sure there are a lot of little things that I am missing.

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Mike

I found this list, thanks to one of 365zum's old posts.

Intake w/ rails
TB (4bbl or 90mm....w/elbow)
air cleaner, air intake setup (depends on how you want to do it)
Carb base gasket for mounting TB or elbow for TB
Car style intake o-rings
Car style injectors with the Bosch plugs
Bosch injector plugs kit
Various vaccum lines different sizes and lengths (get ready to go to the parts store a few times)
Tee fittings to connect PCV and EVAP(good time to install catch can or breathers for valve covers)
Wire and connectors to extend the TPS wires and IAC wires (4bbl tb)
Adjustable fuel pressure reg (for the return sytems)(I used Aeromotive#13109)
Fuel pressure gauge( I used Summit 0-100psi liquid filled)
Fittings for Fuel pressure reg(Aeromotive uses o-ring style fittings for their reg....3 -6an fittings)
(4) 3/8NPT to -6AN fuel rail fittings 90* preferable for all
5/16" to -6AN adapter to adapt return line to -6AN (reg return is -6AN)
-6AN tube nut and sleeve for Main line to attach to -6AN y-fitting
-6AN Y fitting for main fuel line to split to each rail (I used a NOS Y-fitting)
(10) -6AN staright fitrings for braided hose
About 5-10 feet of Braided hose(depends on regulator mounting location)
IAT sensor if going SD and removing MAF.

Which brings another question(added to the ones in my first post)
Will my current 42# injectors work? I'm sure I will have more.

I'm just trying to weigh out the cost compared to a couple of other projects I might do.
Thanks,
Mike

You will need an adapter for the 90mm TB to make it plug n play. https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...d.php?t=411529

Might have to go to 60lbers if you want to really wind up that Vortec. What kind of pump are you running?

Thanks for the reply.
I'm using the stock in-tank and the in-line Walbro that came with the Vortec.
How much is the x-link module?
Does anybody have a part number for the 90mm TB?

Do you think I will need to swap injectors?

Depends on how much boost you want to run. The 42's should be good for a little more on your return style fuel system and you can you can crank up the fuel pressure a little if the pump will support it. Any idea what kind of duty cycles your injectors are seeing now?

Currently my max boost is around 12 PSI. I just read over a log and the highest IDC is at 95% for a brief moment.

I checked out that web site for the x link, seems like a pretty simple install. I also found a decent price on a TB, around $380 with shipping and handling. How's that for price?

Thank you for all the good info. Keep it coming.

If you look around you can usually find take off 90mm TB's for $150- $200
Less for the truck style TB's.

Most injectors become unreliable if you are regularly operating them over 80-85% IDC. Sounds like you are still relatively safe, but I personally would go bigger if you plan on kicking it up a notch.
