the new chevy high performance has a ls1 intake shootout and the truck 6.0L intake beats the ls-6 intake, the lsx intake beat the 6.0L truck by like 2hp, the truck intake is free and the lsx is like $600+ bucks do the math not worth it, my .02
check the article though.

I am in the same position.
Speartech helped me a lot.
Basically, the waterpump inlet needs modification, and the tensioner pulley.

I am going with the Meziere electric water pump, and I think that may fix the issue with the waterpump. Now, all I'll need is to fix the tensioner like Speartech said. DO a search, Speartech posted some pics of his tensioner mod!

I am buying the LSX intake....only because I am going the route of a 408 with turbo. I will also be putting FAST 65lb. injectors in it.

I thought all we had to do was trim the water pump down a little ?
