Default Intake for a 5.3 YSI

I'm in the process of gathering parts install a V7YSI on my truck. I am looking for opinions on cathedral port intakes.

I have the stock NNBS intake, but I am looking for input on non-plastic aftermarket intakes (edlebrock pro flo, victor, victor Jr. or something else?).

One of the things I am concerned about it running small cubes with some of these intakes. I don't want the truck to be super doggy out of boost when I put around town. I am running a "3000 stall" converter now (it flashes to 3500 with Lysholm).

INFO:

5.3 block and crank. 9.2-9.7 compression ratio depending on piston.

Currently I am running a LS6 cam, but will swapping to a supercharger cam that peaks closer to 6500 RPM.

I plan on going up to 15 PSI on pump gas and up to 20 on race gas. I'll likely throw a small shot of NO2 because I like the cooling effect and it is readily available to me.

Any experience or input is appreciated.

Thanks,

I plan to run the edlebrock pro flo on my truck. I have seen great results with that intake.
