Default Intake

Well, now that the exhaust is on...it's time for an intake...I am seriously considering the volant ram air kit (I have an 01' silverado 4.8 by the way) anyway, would that be a good choice or is there something better? thanks guys!

i personally believe in the home built intakes. but if you are dead set on spending 250 plus on one built, then volant would be a nice choice. once again, homebuilt, for 50 bucks for the same gains is where i am stuck.

I like my Volant. True cold air and water resistant. Noticeable HP gain.

Good luck.

IMOP make a home made ram air and buy k&n intake. that will have the same or better performance than the volant. i have the home made ram air with a four inch tube and a k&n panel filter, but stock intake . i will get the k&n filter soon. this setup will beat the price of the volant by a long shot.
