Default intake=trans problems

Seen on another site that cold air intakes can cause trans trouble. Guess pcm can get a false reading that the trans temp is to cold so it heats it up, causing harder shifts. Has anyone heard tell of this?

I had a Granatelli MAF with a CAI on my truck and it would randomly shift really hard and make little jerks when I let off the gas and let it coast. I took off the Granatelli MAF and put the stock MAF back in and got rid of the CAI, and just used a aftermarket tube and filter and it runs much smoother, like stock.
